7 — 23 July
The Summer Open Air Festival of the City of Lugano
An event with a varied musical soul, offering concerts every evening with protagonists of the international, Swiss and local music scene, plus free entertainment, including theatre, cabaret, film screenings, lectures, family activities, thematic markets and street food proposals.
7 - 8 July
An alternative way to spend the summer with a diversified offer of events touching the world of culture and creativity. A wide and varied range of proposals, aimed mainly at the 0-12 age group, ranging from shows to workshops of all kinds in the “Family Village” in the hall of the Palazzo dei Congressi and the adjacent Ciani Park garden, a play environment for children and their families with carefully chosen books for all ages.
From literature to art, via theatre and music, this festival aims to make the public’s minds ‘breathe’ and inspire, in a meeting of words and worlds through readings, dialogues and performances. Thanks also to the synergy with the nature of the surrounding Ciani Park, Talks will know how to get in touch with the soul of each listener, giving him or her a reflection to take with them.
A program that brings together street art, music, and a rich agenda of events, including street shows, concerts, installations, and live performances, many designed specifically to connect to the city’s streets and venues.
19 - 23 July
An experiment in social and artistic coexistence: a delirium of freaks, artists, egos, musicians that in five days is composed and decomposed into a harmony of beauty and fullness. More than 50 artists including musicians, actors, acrobats take turns on stages and in the street, from Piazza Manzoni to Parco Ciani, passing along the lakeside promenade.
