Massimo Gezzi (1976), lives in Lugano where he teaches Italian at a high school. Among his publications of poetry books we highlight: “Uno di nessuno. Storia di Giovanni Antonelli, poeta” (Casagrande Editions, 2016), “Semper mondo” (Marcos y Marcos, 2022) and the short story book “Le stelle vicine” (Bollati Boringhieri, 2021, finalist of the Mastercard Prize for Beginners Literature). He edited the annotated edition of the “Diario del ’71 e del ’72” by Eugenio Montale (Mondadori, 2010), the “Oscar Poesie 1975-2012” by Franco Buffoni (Mondadori, 2012), “Poesie scelte” by Luigi Di Ruscio (Marcos y Marcos, 2019) and “La città lontana. Poesie 1993-2009” by Adelelmo Ruggieri (Marcos y Marcos, 2021). In “Tra le pagine e il mondo” (Italic Pequod, 2015) he collected ten years of interviews with poets and reviews of poetry books. He coordinates the literary website page “Le parole e le cose” with Italo Testa.
