Mark Lettieri is a GRAMMY award-winning guitarist, composer, producer and teacher based in Fort Worth, Texas. He is famous for his work with prominent instrumental bands Snarky Puppy and The Fearless Flyers, but also composes and produces instrumental guitar music under his own name. An expert in a multitude of styles, he has recorded and performed in virtually every genre of popular music with independent artists and major record labels.

Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, Lettieri came to Texas through Texas Christian University (TCU), where he studied advertising and public relations, and competed in athletics. A guitar enthusiast since middle school, he began his music career in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area after graduating from TCU.

Playing in the Metroplex’s vibrant gospel and R&B scene, Lettieri then joined the jazz/world group Snarky Puppy in 2008, contributing as a guitarist, arranger and composer. His work with the group led to four GRAMMY Awards: Best R&B Performance for “Something” feat. Lalah Hathaway in 2014, and Best Contemporary Instrumental Album (Sylva in 2016, Culcha Vulcha in 2017 and Live at the Royal Albert Hall in 2021).
