Luigi Geninazzi was born in Valsolda (Como) in 1947. Journalist and writer, he has closely followed the most important events in international politics as a correspondent for “Avvenire”, with particular attention to Eastern Europe, Russia and the Middle East. For his reporting of him he has obtained various prizes and awards including the Croce di Grande Ufficiale of Poland. His latest book, “The Red Atlantis” (ed. Lindau), tells directly about the fall of the Berlin Wall and the end of communism in Europe.
