She is a Belgian singer, pianist, songwriter and producer based in Switzerland who explores the depths of pop music. With a classical background and diverse influences from jazz to electro music, Imelda Gabs likes to mix genres, always looking for something special. In 2012, at the age of only 14, she performed at the prestigious Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels (BE), which was also her last performance with her father, the world-famous jazz pianist Doctor Gabs, who passed away a year later. 2017 marked a turning point in her career when she was given the opportunity to participate in the Montreux Jazz Academy with world-renowned mentors such as Marcus Miller, Yaron Herman and Elina Duni. A few months later, she was invited to the Montreux Jazz Festival at the Auditorium Stravinski, where she opened for Lianne La Havas and The Roots. Her first and self-produced single Fallen Angel opens a new chapter in her journey, in which she brilliantly combines her dark pop and alternative sound with cinematic visuals.
