Eraldo Affinati

Eraldo Affinati, writer and high school teacher, was born in 1956 in Rome, where he lives and works. He is among the most important storytellers who have turned out to be in the 1990s. Together with his wife, Anna Luce Lenzi, he founded “Penny Wirton”, a free Italian school for immigrants. He made his debut with Vigil of Arms. Tolstoy’s Man (Marietti 1992, Mondadori 1998), an interior breviary inspired by the work of the great Russian writer. His first novel, with an autobiographical imprint, is entitled “Soldati del 1956” (Marco Nardi 1993, Mondadori 1997). The latest of him is “Il Vangelo degli angeli” (HarperCollins, 2021)
